Wholesale Operations - Customer Service

Family owned and operated business specializing in the Branding and Manufacturing of Children’s Apparel seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented candidate to fulfill the needs of Wholesale Operations in a busy office. This position will evolve over time with experience.
 
The ideal candidate for this position is eager to learn the day-to-day operations of a very busy small business. Must be self-motivated to complete tasks without being asked or constant supervision. Must be able to manage several projects at one time. Excellent and timely problem solving and decision-making skills. Excellent and friendly written and verbal communication. Must be extremely detail oriented and capable of managing all varying tasks with the same attention to detail as this is paramount to being successful in this position.
 
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • · Managing inventory and orders in a backend system from multi platforms and locations, both physical and virtual.
  • Uploading accurate inventory quantities to separate website platforms daily.
  • Import and export both retail and wholesale orders across multi platforms. 
  • Responsible for managing and the uploading of products, customers, categories, inventory, and keeping up to date on the design and flow of our wholesale website. 
  • Manage payments from wholesale customers, including but not limited to: 
  • Running A/R reports, sending statements, and following up with customers on payment. 
  • Work to create proposals of payment plans for customers, and following up to ensure they fulfill their obligations. 
  • Communicate with the manufacturing plant and vendors on timelines, shipments, and other details relevant to production of products. 
  • Create shipments that are mutually beneficial to both our company and our customers. 
  • Assist in the sampling process, including but not limited to: 
  • Entering products and assigning SKU’S 
  • Create and enter products into our back end system. 
  • Gathering and organizing all samples and materials needed for market. 
  • Ensuring all samples are accounted for, in pristine condition, labeled, and shipped to sales representatives. 
  • Ability to run reports that provide sales information, inventory, season summaries, and products on a periodic basis to ensure a true understanding and smooth operation of the business and its needs. 
  • Respond to customer’s concerns and requests via email and phone call communications, including assisting with returns. 
 
Qualifications:
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office platforms, such as Outlook and Excel.
  • Some office experience preferred.
  • Will require training and must be comfortable with computer technology.  

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22-$24 hourly. 40 hours per week.
