VI. Program Requirements
About the Leadership Glynn Program: Leadership Glynn is an 8-month program designed to equip, empower, and connect both emerging and established leaders throughout Glynn County. Through a series of interactive, monthly sessions, participants will develop leadership skills, expand their professional networks, and gain a deeper understanding of the local business environment. The program runs from October through May, with sessions typically held one weekday per month at various locations across the county. The year is bookended with two impactful leadership development workshops led by John Bostain, President of Command Presence Training. Program Highlights: Kickoff Weekend: Begins on Sunday, October 12 at 1:00 PM, followed by the Kick-Off Dinner. A full day of leadership development will take place on Monday, October 13. Graduation: Held on a Friday in May (date to be announced). Monthly Sessions: Usually scheduled on Fridays. State Capitol Trip: A two-night trip to Atlanta is scheduled for February 16–18, 2026. Participants are responsible for hotel costs and meals during travel. Room sharing is encouraged to reduce expenses. This is arguably one of the most impactful sessions and we highly encourage you not to miss it. Attendance Policy: To graduate, participants may only miss one scheduled session. If additional sessions are missed, participants may make up for the absence by attending or volunteering at a Chamber event (to be arranged individually). A detailed program schedule will be provided prior to the start of the program.
I understand that I may not miss the Kick-Off Retreat and by applying, I am agreeing that I will be available to participate on Sunday, October 12 from 1pm-4pm, followed by the Kick-Off Dinner that evening from 6pm-9pm. A full day of leadership development will take place on Monday, October 13. *
VII. Applicant Commitment Agreement
I have reviewed the Leadership Glynn Program requirements and I understand that, if selected to participate in the program, I will commit to attending all planned activities and programs. I understand that I can only miss ONE of the sessions in order to graduate from the program, and that no portion of the tuition will be refunded if I cancel or am not able to complete the program. *
VIII. Employer Participation Agreement
My employer has reviewed the participation requirements of the Leadership Glynn Program and understands the time commitment required of this program. In addition, my employer will support and facilitate my participation in the program should I be selected to participate. *
Thank you for your application. The application period closes on Sunday, August 10th, 2025. Applicants will be notified within 3 weeks of the close date of their acceptance status.
