DESCRIPTION:Join us January 26 at 8:30 AM at the Chamber to hear Bruce Miles with Big River Group discuss Business Planning Made Easier.\n\n\n\nDr. Bruce Miles is the owner & CEO of the Big River Group\, LLC.  He has been an Assistant Professor & taught Graduate & Doctoral coursework in the areas of leadership\, research\, planning\, finance & personnel.  Since 1999\, he has been a national-level consultant and trainer in the areas of strategic planning\, organizational improvement\, organizational conflict\, & difficult employees.  Bruce works with more than 8\,000 participants/120 organizations each year across the United States & Canada.\n\n\n\nChainsaw Planning  is a system with teasy to use planning tools that increase business ability to produce results\, meet goals & hold employees accountable.  These tools & strategies have been taught to more than 10\,000 leaders across the US & Canada.\n\n \n\nChainsaw Planning  is usually completed in less than three hours\, or in 2\, 90-minute sessions.\n\n          1) ID pertinent history\, trends\, successes & issues\n\n          2) Develop a five-year vision\n\n          3) ID three to five near-term priorities\n\n          5) Develop of blueprints for new priorities             \n\n          6) ID roles & deliverables through a "My Job\, Your Job" exercise.\n\n \n\n \n\nThis system has been used over the past fourteen years with business organizations with annual gross revenues from $2M to $250M.\n\n \n\nSession participants will work through the tools in a "hands on" planning session with ongoing Q&A.  Handouts detailing each of the planning tools will be handed out tin the session.
